If you access our secure customer portal or use our compliance platform, your use is also governed by the applicable platform terms, data processing agreement and service order with your organisation.

Using the Site

We grant you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to access and use the Site and view any information on the Site, including text, graphics, audio, video, code, downloads and documentation (“Content”) for your internal business purposes. Except as permitted by law, you must not:

If you are issued credentials to access an authenticated area of the Site made available to registered users of Steward’s services (“Portal”), you must keep them confidential and use multi‑factor authentication where provided. You are responsible for activities under your account until you notify us of suspected misuse. We may suspend or revoke access if we suspect unauthorized use or risk to the Site, our systems or other users.

Your Submissions

If you submit content to us through forms, uploads, intercom, emails or feedback channels, you represent that you have the right to share it. You grant Steward a worldwide, royalty‑free, transferable, sublicensable licence to use, host, reproduce, modify and display that content to operate, improve and promote the Site and our services. We may use ideas or suggestions without obligation to you. We will handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Site to:

  • post or transmit unlawful, defamatory, infringing, obscene, deceptive or harmful content or code;

  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;

  • harvest data or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems;

  • send unsolicited marketing or spam;

  • violate the rights of others, including privacy, publicity and intellectual property rights.

Intellectual property

The Site and all Content are owned by Steward or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms. Any third‑party trademarks on the Site are the property of their respective owners.

Disclosures, no advice, and no reliance

Content on the Site is provided for general information only. It does not constitute legal, regulatory, investment, tax or other advice, and you should not rely on it as such. You are responsible for obtaining professional advice before taking or refraining from any action based on the Site.

Warranties and disclaimers

The Site and Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steward disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or error‑free, or that Content will be current, complete or accurate.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (for example, liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence). Subject to the foregoing, Steward and its Affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site. To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed USD $100.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Steward and its Affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or if your use poses a risk to the Site, our systems or other users. You may stop using the Site at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) will survive termination.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and our Cookies Notice explains how we use cookies and similar technologies. By using the Site, you acknowledge these notices.

Data Processing

Our Data Processing Addendum covers how we process customer data, including but not limited to categories of data, types of data processed, data subject rights and how we manage international data transfers. By using the Site, you acknowledge how we process data.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms (and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them) are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without regard to its conflicts of laws principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules then in effect. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The seat and place of arbitration shall be Wilmington, Delaware, U.S.A., and the language shall be English. Either party may seek interim, provisional, or injunctive relief from any court of competent jurisdiction (including the state and federal courts located in Delaware) to protect its confidential information or intellectual property. If you are a consumer and mandatory law in your country grants you the right to bring claims in local courts, nothing in this clause limits that right.

Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement regarding your use of the Site.

  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to an Affiliate or in connection with a reorganisation, merger or sale of assets.
